Sermon - "No Toolbox is Complete Without One"
Features - 8th Sunday After Pentecost
Scripture - Amos 7:7-17 & Luke 10:25-37
Theme - The prophet, Amos, is given a message of judgment to share with the people of Israel (the northern kingdom.) At the center of the message is how Israel has not faithfully lived as God's people. The Lord shows Amos a tool to help him in sharing his difficult and challenging message to the people of the northern kingdom. It's a tool that is also meant to help us to stay centered in being the people God has called us to be.
