Below is a letter from our Bishop Gregory Palmer regarding legislation that is being drafted for consideration at this May’s General Conference of the UMC that will be held in Minnesota.

Since “Ask the Pastor” Sunday is scheduled for both worship services on January 26, this will be an opportunity for me to share my thoughts on this proposed legislation. You are also welcome to share any biblical, theological, or church related questions to me at robert@firstumcathens.org by Friday, January 17. I will do my best to address your questions on that Sunday.
