Church-Wide "Committed to Christ" Focus - September & October

This month, our congregation will begin a forty day journey exploring the theme of what it means to be fully committed disciples of Jesus Christ. During each Sunday of our seven week journey, we will be invited to make personal commitments in the areas of prayer, bible reading, worship attendance, witnessing, financial giving, and service. Several of our Sunday School classes and small groups will be focusing on these topics as well. We will have ministry fair displays corresponding to each week's theme beginning Sunday, September 22.

We are also invited to participate in a forty day devotional book reading beginning Wednesday, September 11 and lasting through Saturday, October 26. These have been available in our church parlor.

One of my prayers during these weeks leading up to our forty day journey is for us to make worship attendance a top priority during this time. Our weekly worship services (September 15 through October 27) will give us a lot to think about as we seek to be fully committed disciples of Jesus Christ.
