Friends,
A couple of months ago, Pastor Cheryl and I
visited Mary Graf who has the distinction of being our longest term
member. On April 12, she will celebrate
her 87th church membership anniversary!
During our visit together, we had a
delightful conversation. We concluded
our time together with a prayer in which we gave thanks to God for Mary’s
faithfulness to the church over all these years.
As we prepare for our first bicentennial
celebration event with our church bell dedication on Sunday, April 22 (just ten
days after Mary’s church membership anniversary!) I am also so thankful for
your love and dedication to Jesus Christ and First UMC!
You are an amazing congregation.
